Except on Sundays?

thats what i said

Yeah it was something like “snobbish”. I’m still looking for the specific adjective but the answer shows the purists were basically stuck up.

I’m still holding out hope for months because I thought the question referred to the time span where she began to understand the guide.

I really want a 36.

nope …it’s years. thank goodness i got lucky cuz i had about 5 minutes to double check and when i read that question again, my eyes somehow drifted to the part that said “over the next couple of years…”

Years. It was verbatim from the passage.

Definately years. It was stated directly in paragraph 2 or 3

Is it possible to miss one and get a 36

:'-(

was the second set the final set…because it stated it directly in the passage

“the second set was the final set”

okay so i know this isnt part of the reading, but theres this one question from the english section that i was hesitant on. there was one where it asked for the synonym for “solar” and i put “orange” since it talked about peachy melon colored ribbons in the sky…
whatd you guys get? cuz luminous and radiant were too similar…

It’s orange, puregenius. Look in the past posts. >_>

It was years…90 percent sure

the second set was definitely the final set. it said directly in the passage that, “after the final set…” and then they start talking about allowing the people in the bullpen or whatever to play.

when the regular people come up and play isn’t considered a set

It’s Sunday. He was talking about the locals waited for Sundays when they could get called up.

The second set was the middle, I think, because they said on Sundays that there are 3 acts or something like that.

She appreciated the book over years. I remembered explicitly reading that in the passage.

^yeah i think it’s years… i saw that somewhere in there.

I still think the second set was the last one.

But it was Sunday night and on Sundays they let the amateurs come up and play. They had like a line of hopefuls or whatever…so I would think that this major performance would count as a set on Sunday nights.

I put ‘final set’ and ‘years’.

Was one of the answers something like ‘snobbish and arrogant’ or ‘snobbish and ignorant’ or something like that.

i agree with all the other answers everyone has confirmed except for the
“months” and “years”. the question had asked how long it took for the girl to understand the book, and interpreted (can’t exactly remember what it said) it said “next summer” that she became to understand using the book. becoming a companion with the book over the next several years doesn’t mean she understood it more, it simply just means she used it a lot over the next several years. answer is “months”

The phrasing of the question and the phrasing of the passage with “years” were word-for-word…
