April 4th List of Questions/Answers

k u guys r just freekin anooying who reely gives that much of a crap wat the answer is… plus it was pi because i asked my tutor who took the act the same day also… she does it to discuss questions with her students so there you go .

“split paragraph was before or after 4 because it went back to the guy, the previous sentenced discussed the organization he was with”

For clarification, the story went back to the guy and not his childhood, right? There were two After Sentence 4 answers.

answer to last question on test?? was it F?

Well the first sentence of the “new” paragraph would begin with his childhood. However this is not the purpose for the split of the paragraphs; it is intended to bring the focus back to the guy, not his childhood (which it does but only for 1 sentence, insignificant to the whole meaning of the essay)

The period was definitely pi. Here’s my explanation in simple terms: a full period is completed when the loop goes up and returns down. This happened in a period of pi.

on the question about the bait shop in english- where he says he greets his customers with a smile- was that part necessary? i put that it was unnecessary, because later in the paragraph he gets the customers coffee and stuff, showing his attitude towards the customers… but i was unsure on that one.

also, how much of a curve do you think there will be?

there was a question about formation of snowflakes?

i said the answer with the conditions with which they are met…is this correct?

it was necessary because it showed his attitude. getting his costumers coffee doesn’t show his attitude, he might be forced to do that by his boss. the smile is optional and thus shows his attitude.

I also need clarification on the formation of snowflakes question. On the Reading forum the majority (2 people) said they put that the snowflakes changed when they hit the ground. Was this an answer to a different question or am I thinking of the right one–how they formed, as Twaan said. I put under the conditions they meet, the passage said they are formed depending on the conditions of the place they are falling…I’m just confused if this hitting the ground answer belong to a different question or not

yes they are different questions

Alright then i definitely do not remember the metamorphosis question that had the hitting the ground answer…or what I put.

thats what i did and the answer to the other question was that they combine

In reading, I remember marking an answer that was like “conditions in the atmosphere.”

Was this the correct answer? Cannot remember question.

i think there were lots of answer choices similar to “conditions in the atmosphere” lol

for the metamorphosis q, i think its when they hit the ground because i remember reading those two things together in the passage…

whats the answer to the question referring to Shades Brown (the jazz dude) in the narrative prose?

anyone know what time act scores come out?

wednesday the 15th

He wasn’t playing.

Time passes soooooo slow when you’re waiting for your score >.<

I know they come out the 15th…but is it at midnight EST or what time exactly?
