THIS QUERY IS FOR MY FRIEND WHO DOESNT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET CURRENTLY.
He got rejected from PSU with a 1500/2400 SAT and 70% ( NO GPA System in India )
for Accounting major .
He also opted for summer and asked for DUS consideration but still no luck.
His ACT scores are really good recently , around 26-28 on practice .
Do you think if he sends his ACT April score , results due April 19 and 26 … he will have a shot for atleast DUS with summer ?
Please reply asap.

He’s already been turned away twice this year - doubt that they will reconsider again.
Also, since its well past the priority deadline. The entrance requirements get even more difficult since they have less spaces. I have seen kids apply last year late with very good scores get rejected.
Even if he gets a 30+ ? Coz his extra curricular are amazing no doubt. So lack of that cant be a reason.
The answer to this is only speculation… With even the best stats it’s anyone’s guess what Penn State will do! If he tries and is denied he is in no worse position than he’s in now. However, if I’m not incorrect, a 70% Indian scale is about a 2.5 GPA US conversion. A 2.5 wouldn’t get you into Main campus under any circumstance. Not even with a 30 ACT. He could get into a branch campus, but not main campus.
