<p>My brother got me good this year. I knew he was planning on visiting our cottage this weekend. On Friday, I got a series of emails from him: </p>
<p>call me. TYhere are squatters in the cottage. i JUST GOT HERE FORthe weekend. A woman Gloria Nunzia and some children are living in the cottage she says they are paying rent to a woman and won’t let me in. I’ve called the State Police. I tried calling you on your cell but got no answer. Call me please. </p>
<p>2nd email:<br>
Her name is Nunziata. Her husband Larry works at Crossing Bridge. There a 4 kids. call me. </p>
<p>3rd email:
this is bad. The State Police are here and won’t arrest or remove the squatters. The Nunziatas are claiming to be tenants - say they are withholding rent because we are bad landords substamdard conditions. They want the trooper to arrest me!!! berecause of an illegal septic system, leaky roof and plumbing problems. Larry Nunziata says he has to keep the water running all the time or it will freeze. Cop says we have to go to court to get an eviction. Have you heard of the Nunziatas? They have some canceled checks. Call me</p>
<p>The reality is that the cottage does indeed have substandards conditions–it is a camp!
