Apron Parking

Just curious if the current enforcement (i.e. ticketing) for apron parking in north Village off campus apartments will affect/impact you in the Fall and if so, to what degree?

For those not affected/impacted, if you have opinions, one way or the other on the crack down – which began just after the end of Spring finals – please share.

If you don’t know what the term means, see:

[The Daily Bruin :: Ticketing for apron parking in Westwood officially in effect](http://www.dailybruin.com/index.php/article/2011/06/ticketing_for_apron_parking_in_westwood_officially_in_effect)

Though I feel bad for all of the North Village residents that aren’t going to have parking now, I am so happy this is finally being enforced!

I feel SO much safer driving through the apartments now. It’s almost eerie how spacious the streets feel.

My .02…

It’s about time they started ticketing apron parking considering it’s blatently illegal, a safety hazard, and about the easiest ticket a cop could right. I only hope it relieves the stress on the minds of cops about their alleged non-existent “quotas” and they back off of other drivers.

The stupid apron parking not only inconveniences pedestrians, but also makes the driving much harder in the North Village area.
