AP's for Top Colleges

First, I wanna start off by saying I know that AP’s aren’t everything, and I have a well rounded load of extracurriculars alongside grades. However, the competition at my school is very intense, and I am only in freshman year, and also a majority of these classes I am taking because I am actually interested in them. I am a freshman.

So currently in freshman year I am taking AP human geography, and these are my planned out AP’s for the next 3 years, as well as the rest of my schedule

9th:
Pre-AP Biology
Pre-AP Geometry
Pre-AP Algebra 2
Pre-AP Spanish 2
AP Human Geography
GT Humanities(FriscoISD course of English Plus AP World History, counts for AP credit in sophomore year)
Medical Terminology
Orchestra

10th:
AP Biology
AP Physics 1
AP Seminar
GT Humanities(AP World Credit)
Pre-AP Computer Science
Pre-AP Precalculus
Pre-AP English 2
Orchestra

11th:

AP English +AP US History(FriscoISD GT course of Both classes combined, counts for both credits)
AP Physics 2
AP Chemistry
AP Computer Science
AP Research
Orchestra

12th
AP Gov and Economics
Advanved Computer Science(Offered by School, Is not an official AP Course but is equally weighted as an AP due to a rigourous course load.)
AP Physics C
AP Statistics
AP Literature
AP European/AP Computer Science Principles/Medical Microbiology (undecided yet)
Independent Study and Mentorship
Orchestra

I am also planning to self study for AP psychology and possibly AP comparative gov. and politics.

I want to go into medicine, but also have an interest in computer science and politics.

Please give any advice on my current schedule and if it is enough for Colleges.

My current rank is 23/593 with a 5.12 gpa on a scale of
AP- 6.0
Pre-AP-5.5
Regular-5.0

Most colleges want to see 3-4 years of foreign language. Don’t omit core courses for electives.

Where are Spanish 3 and 4 (or AP)?

Do you live in Texas (where class rank is the most important factor in public university admissions)?

AP CS principles is a better first CS course than AP CS A for most students. However, if you are committed to CS enough to start with AP CS A, it may not be all that useful to take AP CS principles afterward.

Don’t bother self studying APs unless you’re just very interested in the topic. They do very little, if anything, to enhance a college application. Especially once you’re past 6-7 AP courses.

Have you had a Chem class? At many schools, AP Chem has a prereq of another Chem class. Taking 2 lab science classes in one year is foolhardy in my opinion. The lack of foreign language is a major shortcoming. This is a high risk schedule that has a large chance of backfiring.
