AP's senior year only, will Chicago care

My course load has been more challenging over the years but I decided to drop out of my only ap class junior year (but am planning to take a different AP exam anyways) because I moved up in math and science. Will it be to my disadvantage that all my AP’s (probably 3) will be taken my senior year (at a very good private school). I’m worried that admissions will think that my AP’s don’t really count because they won’t really see how I perform in them…:(

They will care. Course load is very important.

APs count only as far as they are rigorous courses. If you dropped the AP to take a similarly rigorous schedule, it shouldn’t hurt you. It also depends on how many APs are available or common to take at your school.

anyway what can you do about it now? just turn in the best app you can, and you either get in or you don’t. well or you’re waitlisted/deferred. But it’s out of your control at this point.
