i’m entering the faculty of science this year with APs in chemistry and calculus, so how do i factor these in when i’m registering for courses? i know McGill factors in your APs, but does this mean you skip to second year courses or have a blank spot for an elective in your timetable?

well if you know what you want to be majoring in, it could be a good idea to skip to second year courses in that subject - like i want to do math or physics, so with the spot i have open from my calc ap i’m taking calc 3 and linear algebra. if you have no idea what you want to do though and so can’t get a head start on that then maybe take an elective.
