My school started the IB program last year when i was a junior, but didn’t yet offer the diploma. I have taken 4 IBs and had one AP last year, 2 APs this year with the same IBs. I only have two AP scores (history), a 5 in US and a 3 in Euro (no one scored higher than i did in my class–horrible teacher). will this affect my app?

???

an AP looks good even if you got a 3, it means you challenged yourself. As long as you keep you maintain good areas in other areas, it shouldnt hurt your application much.

i didnt thinkk colleges even saw ur ap scores until after you were admitted and u wanted to pass out of a class? they just see the unofficial ones right?

Yes, eri. For now, you use Common App to self-report any AP scores you want colleges to see. After you are admitted and you want credit for the AP courses, you get an official score from College Board.

awesome. do sat score reports also send in sats even if they don’t send APs?

No, your AP score is sent if you’re accepted (to verify the credits you get).
