<p>So what happens if you have mediocre history facts and excellent synthesis/analysis/style? Or, in other words, how much of the “relevant outside information” on the scoring guidelines do you actually need to get 5-7? 8-9?</p>
<p>Also, when you’re comparing events, and you only know the bare “Crash Course” basics of one, should you make up significance/consequences? Nothing about alien invasions, but what about something plausible (if not correct)? This is assuming that the other essay choice would almost certainly be a worse choice.</p>
