(APUSH) what to do if you dont know much about the essay?

<p>Essays are really important on this test.however,IF you dont really know anything about the essay topic,what'd you do? for ex. if you essay topic is on Jackson,but you dont know much about Jackon,what 'd you do? try to write as many ''made-up facts'' that seem making sense you can????</p>
