In what sense, if any, is the idea of a “Revolution of 1800” (Jefferson over Adams) justified.

ANyone have any basic ideas?

I know that it ended Federalists party rule and basically removed them from power forever, but what else points to a revolution or even a renovation?

It signified the first democratic transfer of power in history. Before then, the party in power usually refused to hand over power and it eventually became a monarchy and democracy failed. The federalist could have refused to give up their power but instead they handed it over without any fuss.

To add onto PKWsurf21, the “Revolution of 1800” was a key signal that indicated that democracy would actually sustain and continue in the United States, which is important considering that democracies overwhelmingly failed in the past.
