Apush

okay so i have this teacher that has never taught apus before. and everyone and i mean everyone has above a 90 in his class. we have had one test. and he has been absent a total of probably 8 days. where we have no teacher and do NO work.
At the same period as this class there runs another apus class with a teacher who has been teaching the material for 10 plus years. everyone however who is in this class is horribly failing…I could switch into the class because it would not interfere with me schedule or stay in the cake easy class. help!?

Well, are you a senior or junior? If you’re a senior, then you probably do not need to worry about the AP Exam, so you can stay to get an easy A. however, if youre a junior then you should switch to the better class.

If you want a good grade on the AP exam, definitely switch!
A good teacher makes studying for the AP exam much easier because you already have a good solid foundation and know the materials better.
If you’re a senior, I guess it doesn’t really matter.

i am a junior and my teacher i forgot to mention is very charismatic, hes used to be an actor. and hes very good at explaining and making things interesting. He makes power points for the chapter on his smart board. and thats pretty much as far as it goes. he doesn’t really know what the exams about or anything.

i need advice very badly.VERY. considering i have to let my guidance counselor know on Wednesday…HELP!

Is the teacher that’s been teaching for a long time known for getting her students good scores on the AP exam?

If so, I’d switch. If you do your work and really try, I’m sure you’ll do fine in her class. It’s just a lot of memorization…

If people in her class fail the AP exam, I wouldn’t bother…just self-study throughout the year?
