i am not ready…i have not read in the pageant book frrom after new deal programs , it is very conspicous…andi dont knoow anytihg about coldwar or beyond…

so the question is…should i take the exam or not…???
i am very unprepared and if review over the book for these two dasys…i know i will get half of the mcs right

what should i do? should i take the APUSH exam???

American Pageant as a USH textbook? If you’re using that book, you’d be screwed even if you had read it all the way through.

Take it…if you think you did poorly after you can always cancel. I would not recommend not taking it because a) it looks fishy if you take an AP class and not the exam and b) there’s still a chance that you will pass
I mean…let’s quote RFK here
"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly. …? haha hopefully that was helpful

how can the pageant book screw me up?
i havent read from chapter 35…and there is still 6 more chapter to read… each 25 pages long…
hey i have paid $13 bucks and have to brong 69 dollars on friday…why i would not like to waste my money…
so should i go ahead and take it and study real hard for 2 days?
or rather should i not waste my dollars as i know i would not get half questions right on mc…
no that i care aboout submitting my scores to coolege bc where i want o go only accepts a 5 and to a minimum extent 4.

i should rather use my these two days studying for SAT as i have to improve my scores alot…
and that is more iprotant…not seconday things like APUSH Exam…
anyways…whats so good about taking the exam…??get college hours?

Eh I just don’t like the Pageant book, I think it glosses over a lot of important things…

I say go for it, though. If you’re a senior, then it doesn’t matter if you do badly anyway. It’s not like your college is going to withdraw admission over your AP scores, and you might even get credit. If you’re a junior or lower, then you don’t have to send the score to colleges when you apply anyway. It really can’t hurt you, except in the wallet.

Oh, one more thing that might make you feel better: I don’t think they put DBQs or FRQs on the APUSH exam that are after 1960, and if you blow a few MC questions because you don’t know past New Deal, it probably won’t be that many anyway.

If you don’t want to take the exam - don’t.

Study for the SAT if you think that will be more beneficial to you.
AP exams are still seen by colleges and are important because they show colleges how much you know (an A in one class isn’t the same as an A in another…so this shows them how much you REALLY know.)
Also, yes there is a chance of getting out of certain history classes in college if you pass the AP, but this depends on the specific school.

Do you have a test prep book, or just the textbook? Just asking because getting through all that reading in a couple of days will be hard 6 ch x 25 pages per ch = headache. However, if you can do this then great.

So I guess you don’t seem to want to take the “secondary things like APUSH exam” anyhow, in which case I’m not so sure what you wanted us to tell you.
