<p>How good are the language programs in Columbia, specifically arabic. Also would you say it is better or worse than Georgetowns?</p>

<p>Columbia’s Middle Eastern Languages and Culture (MEALAC) department is probably regarded as pre-eminent, since the days of Edward Said. Nobody will be able to tell you whether it’s easier to learn Arabic at one or the other, since we can’t have studied at both.</p>
