<p>I will be applying to CMU architecture this fall/winter and have done quite a bit of research on their program, however I haven’t been able find any clear description of the nature of the school. I’m looking for B.Arch programs that are more or less balanced between the artistic and technical aspects of the study, and I’m trying to avoid ones that are purely tech/eng. If any of you can tell me about the general leaning of the program at CMU, please respond. Thanks.</p>

<p>son took a class as 1st semester junior, cmu,this past year, in Arch. Prof spent a full lecture period to discourage students to become an Arch’tec.</p>
<p>A lot of schools are very selective and have quotas for arch students. Possibly an oversupply in the profession.</p>
