Are all the math sections somehow interrelated?

I’m seeing a lot of this as I work through the math slowly on my own (I never finished high school, long story) Like I see
quadratic equations in the functions section, perfect squares with binomials etc.

This is intentional right? it’s actually kind of cool how it all works together.

So basically there are no sections one can “skip?” right? You have to study it all?

I realize this isn’t really a preparation question but I don’t know where to put it. Mods, forgive me.

Yes, a lot of topics in mathematics are very intertwined.

For example, deriving the quadratic formula is pretty difficult unless you know how to complete the square (which is often taught as a “separate” method to solving quadratics).

And a lot of geometry questions tend to be disguised as algebra questions (and vice versa).

If you’re aiming for 750-800, it seems like a good idea.

@Rianthe It seems you have the drive and time to get to the roots of all these squares  . You might find this book very helpful in your endeavors: [A First Course in Algebra](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1502817330/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_1?colid=2G1HXN52MI1G6&coliid=I3UMJ923FM4UNK:).
