<p>Yes, Vanderbilt now requires an official scholarship application separate from the application for admission. If you want to be considered for more than one of the VU premier (i.e. big money) merit scholarships, you will have to fill out a separate application for each one. </p>

<p>Rice still does not (I think) require a separate application.</p>

<p>Univ. of Chicago does not require a separate application.</p>

<p>You can check the web sites of schools to find out details.</p>

<p>BTW, I hope you are asking for next year. It is a bit late for apps for top schools.</p>

<p>If you’re asking if there are other good colleges in St. Louis, the answer is St. Louis University. Altho it’s not ranked as high as Wash U, it’s a very good school.</p>
