Are AP credits accepted in CCs?

just wondering

yes…but they seem to be pretty harsh on giving ap credits

Not really. My cc gave me 27 unit credits for my AP alone, and they were BIG BOOST for fulfilling my IGETC requirement.

It depends on the classes, but the general answer is yes.

they dun gimme any credit for my aps, but they let me skip calc 1 cause i got 5 on calc a.

Yeah same, my CCC will allow you to skip the class that fits the AP class you passed, but no units are awarded.

wow whatever ccc you are all going to really are harsh…

A CC better give credits for AP classes because making a student take a CC class which they earned an AP credit in is highly unethical! If your CC is not being agreeable, then go to whoever runs the CC and fight for your credits.
