are certain programs easier to get into

MY D is on the low end of the IU admissions criteria. She desperately wants to attend. She is about to submit application. Do any programs/schools have lower criteria. I know at some schools the Education College is easier. What about IU. Anything that might move the odds?

Thanks for any help.

Once she is in, and she will get in  there will be plenty of time to look at different programs. Certainly different programs are harder/easier then others, but if she finds a field she is really interested in, the staff at IU will do all they can to help her graduate with whatever degree and through whatever program she wants.

I am sorry that my question was not clear.

I mean are their certain programs to apply to that make admissions easier. Does Education or something else have lower admission standards?

If Kelly is the hardest to get into, conversely, what is the easiest?

Thanks

Unless you’re applying to Kelley, as a freshman you get accepted to IU as a whole rather than into a specific college. Then you apply for other colleges within IU after the first year. So I guess the answer to your question is No.

It’s a lot easier to get into IU as a University Division (UD) student, which is basically applying undeclared. In order for your daughter to boost her chances of admission with lower stats, she should submit the optional supplemental materials with the application (essays, EC list, teacher recs, etc). It’s good that she’s applying early too.

Here are the requirements for direct admission into various schools at IU:

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Will doaccordingly.
