<p>It depends in part on what schools we’re talking about, but basically, yes! I was told by a prominent person in the admissions field that “there is no such thing as a need-blind admission policy.” But your other credentials have to be in the ballpark as well. Good luck!</p>
<p>Does that mean that, as an international, I’ll be favoured over others because I don’t need financial aid to universities such as NYU and UVA?</p>
<p>There’s no single rule for all schools; research each school, or ask on a school’s board here on CC. But full-pay internationals have a big advantage over needy internationals at most schools.</p>
