<p>I’m just wondering because my transcript is out of whack.</p>
<p>I spent most of my life in Australia. I left to come to the USA during the end of my freshmen year.
Since then, starting in Sophomore year, I’ve had all straight As, even in Junior year.
However, my school chose to not accept my 2nd semester of Freshmen year, and also, In Australia a VELS B = An American A, but my highschool also won’t translate the grades over to how they should be.
Hence, right now, whilst I should have a 4.0 GPA, I only have a 3.86, and with only 18 credits (whilst I should have 21+ like everyone around me), my class ranking is 51/354 (Top 14%)</p>
<p>If I give all the needed documentation when I apply to colleges, about the grade thing, and the credits problem, will they be understanding and not simply think that I didn’t work my butt off etc, (mind you, I’ll have 8 APs and a bunch of honors once I graduate).
College apps. look daunting enough without my problems put on top x.x</p>
