Are CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE corrections necessary if the school also requires IDOC?

<p>I submitted my CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE with some estimated values on January 2nd to meet a certain deadline, but am not sure if I need to submit paper corrections to the colleges. I also submitted my FAFSA using estimated values on January 22nd to meet priority deadlines and submitted corrections on February 11th after my parents filed their taxes. My EFC lowered from $11,239 to $9,954 after corrections so some of my CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE info is definitely wrong. If I am required to submit the IDOC though, won’t the college make corrections to my PROFILE data based on actual copies of taxes and such?</p>

<p>P.S. The colleges I applied to that require the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE include Haverford College, Davidson College, Dickinson College, Macalester College, and University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and each requires the IDOC except for University of Michigan. If anyone knows any specific policies for these schools please let me know.</p>

<p>I had a fairly substantial change to the CSS PROFILE. I just sent a letter to all the schools detailing the change. No way it can hurt.</p>
