Are IBs needed to go out of country?

<p>Do i need to take IBs to go out of the country? My school doesn’t offer any.</p>

<p>No - but they are a good mark for most European schools. My understanding that Canadian schools will take AP scores no problem, and consider them as well as other curriculums, as well as give credit.</p>

<p>It depends on which school. But having an IB diploma is widely and internationally recognized, so it would be beneficial for schools abroad in general. For example, some French public universities accept American students solely for earning the IB diploma.</p>
