<p>this thread was only from 2010 and it appears that nyu didn’t require mid year grades.</p>

<p>Hi, NYU applicants go through the Common App procedures and that includes submission of the mid-year and final-year grade reports. So, yes, officially your mid-year report is required. However, I have read that not all students submit the mid-year report and NYU may not follow up with this. Just think, they have many accepted student paperwork to deal with, after a long grueling process of reviewing application materials for around 40,000 applicants. So some slip through the hole. But you may not, so to be safe, you should be prepared to submit the mid-year report.</p>
