<p>Hello everyone, </p>
<p>Let me first start off by saying I have come a long way. First I would like to show you a ‘rough’ transcript, it just includes GPA’s for each semester.</p>
<p>Things to remember: all GPA’s are unweighted, semester GPA’s are not accum. ‘overall’ gpas are accumulative. </p>
<p>Freshman, 1st semester:
2.76, did pretty poorly.
Freshman 2nd semester:
2.3, why? I was diagnosed with a chronic illness near the end of second semester, the side affects of my medications made me preform poorly. </p>
<p>Overall GPA: 2.47 (Yikes!) </p>
<p>Sophomore 1st semester (remember these are non-accum.):
3.5, starting to pick it up :).
Sophomore 2nd semester:
3.8, woot I did well!</p>
<p>New overall: 3.08 (This is exact the previous GPAs are very close estimates.) </p>
<p>Junior 1st semester:
4.0
Junior 2nd semester:
4.0</p>
<p>NEW ACCUMULATIVE: 3.3</p>
<p>Edit* I’m in the top 25% of my class.</p>
<p>A look into my classes: Besides science I didn’t start taking advanced classes until my junior year, please note my school doesn’t have “honors” just AP’s. </p>
<p>AP macroeconomics, Ap government and politics, AP music theory (This was an evening class), AP physics, AP literature. I have been in orchestra for all 3 years of high school so far, and have 4 fine arts credits. My math is sub-par, I’ve only completed up to Alg II. </p>
<p>ACT score: 30 composite, don’t remember the break down I only took it once; received a nine on writing. </p>
<p>EC’s: Key club, pop strings (orchestra club), School musical (pit crew), Physics club, English academic team, forensics (went to state I placed in my division.), 200+ volunteer hours at the “Multicultaral” center of my city, which fits the major I want of Anthropology (cultural).</p>
<p>I have had a part time job for 1.5 years, I work 30 hour weeks. (which is illegal in my state for minors might I add.) </p>

The schools I’m looking to get into are: The University of Minnesota (Twin cities.), University of Madison, MSOE, and UW-Milwaukee (I know I’m pretty much guaranteed there!</p>
