<p>higher because a coach wants me to play for her team? The coach of the Pomona/Pitzer (claremont colleges) softball team personally wrote me a letter saying she has a spot for me next season. Will this increase my chances of getting into the school in the first place? I am planning to apply to Pitzer, I have a 4.4 W/3.8 UW GPA, 1750 SAT (yeah i know know…pretty pathetic…) </p>

<p>I am a 3 sport athlete and have been on the Varsity teams since freshman year…because I could play on possibly 2 athletic teams will this increase my chances at all?</p>

<p>Your class rank and gpa are very good, so that might make up for your SAT’s (which, by the way, are not pathetic, roughly 75th percentile). Pitzer looks beyond test scores, so if you have something else that will pique their interest (besides sports), I think you have a pretty good shot of getting in. Good luck!</p>
