are my chances really bad??

not even in top tenth…
3.6 unweighted
4.0 weighted

of course i have rigorous extracurriculars along with rigorous classes

2160 highest cumilative sat

duke, dartmouth, brown, carnegie mellon, johns hopkins…

by the way do they count classes such as music and art?

music i keep getting B’s because of morning tardies

for ceramics i got a B (not even a required class) i had a stupid teacher…

bump bump hello

I don’t think you have a good chance at the ivies and similar.

But, don’t despair  There are many fine schools that will take you.

What do you want to major in?

Is money an issue? Have your parents said how much they will spend? (will they at least pay their EFC)?

If you’re an URM, you have a chance. If you’re not, then you don’t have much of a chance at those schools. From what I can tell, all of those schools are really into class rank and GPA. So even though your SAT is decent, your GPA and rank will likely take you out of consideration for those schools. I’d try one of the good state schools where you live or a good private but one not in the top 25. Good luck.

Your chances are not very likely. However, you never know, you may write a good essay and get into one of them. But definitely pick some safe schools to apply to.
