are my classes on pace to go to an elite college

<p>I’m currently a sophomore and i was looking for advice whether i need to take more difficult classes or get more involved.</p>

<p>Freshmen classes:</p>

<p>Honors English-A
World History-A
Algebra 1/Geometry-A
Biology-A
Spanish 1-A
Gym-A
Basic tech drawing/Health-A</p>

<p>Sophomore classes:</p>

<p>Honors English-A
A.P U.S History-A
A.P Psychology-A
Honors Chemistry-A
Spanish 2-A
Algebra 2-A
Gym 1st semester/A.P macroeconomics second semester-A</p>

<p>Possible Junior classes:</p>

<p>Spanish 4
Pre-calculus
Debate team/ A.P microeconomics
A.P Biology or Chemistry
A.P language compisition
A.P something</p>

<p>Yes, your classes and grades are on track to get into an elite college. Pursue the Debate Team seriously. Are you considering Cornell, Columbia, U Rochester, RPI, Syracuse, Colgate, Hamilton?</p>

<p>The question is will your GC check the box that says took the most rigorous schedule. If that is true then you’ll be fine. From the above it seems as though that would be the case.</p>

<p>Judging from the courses you have and are taking it looks like you go to a private high school. You need to compare your curriculum to what your school would define as its “most demanding curriculum.” It looks like you have a fairly rigorous schedule but I’m wondering why you didn’t take Honors or AP World History, Honors Biology or Honors Algebra and Geometry.</p>

<p>no a.p world history/honors world history. No honors biology/honors algebra either</p>
