Gatortristan: You’ve done a lot so far. One recommendation you may have heard elsewhere, and which you may be following already. Spend the next few months of academic time attempting to do something significant with your leadership positions in the organizations you belong to. For example, in your position as founder and leader of Amnesty International, seek out and find ways to help solve a problem which is within the scope of your charter. The charter of Amnesty International is human rights so you have a broad range of issues to think about. It doesn’t mean you and your classmates need to solve an international problem, but maybe you could organize an educational forum to discuss one of the AI hot topics such as the role and methods of community based policing, or the role in a democracy of electronic surveillance. The way I might pick the issue is look at what is most important to the people where you live. These are only examples and you could do this with any of the organizations, but you get the idea. Basically, you’ve got the breadth, now work on the depth. Good luck to you.

Very impressive. You’ve started two organization (UNICEF. Amnesty Int.) that have been around before you were born. Do you time travel?

Sorry, didn’t want to be mean, but it will help you if you’re precise when describing your accomplishments. Perhaps you started local chapters of these organizations?

OP seems to mean they were the founder of their school’s chapter.

OP, I hope you understood the point of my post (two above this) and didn’t take offense that I used “snarky” humor to pint out how something that is not written precisely can be misinterpreted.

Your ECs are good, and show leadership. Am sure you will be clear on your apps where you founded your organizations.

FBLA is a big plus, I did that in high school.
