Are my SAT subject test scores too low?

I scored a 740 on both the World History test and the Math II test. I’m planning on applying to selective schools like Rice and Duke but not to any Ivy League schools. Thanks!

I would think that if your regular SAT Scores are fine, you should be good. It won’t really hurt much, unless you NEED them to apply. I know I’m submitting mine as extras, even though they suck (lol), just to have another score on there.

However, if you need those two tests and the regular SAT to apply, you may be at a loss. Kids applying to those schools may have 800 on their subject tests; you may have the “low” score. But, you never know. You could have kids like myself applying with 680 (hahaha), and you have the high score! Your score is fine, to me… anything above a 700 should keep you safe.
