<p>very good grades and many achievements in competitions (like Math/History/Geography olympiad, Mathematic Kangaroo …), other EC probably below average compared to US students?</p>

<p>I really dont know what schools to apply to. I was told that these scores are exclent for a czech student (maybe foar any intl student) but I feel my EC are weak and moreover, I had no other option but to ask for a TE a teacher who doesnt really like me so I expect a bit “average” evaluation…</p>

<p>Yeah, but nowadays, its a lot more than grades that gets you into the tow 20 even if you are a URM. You need something that will set you apart from others. Otherwise you have a very slim chance. </p>

<p>Based just on stats, you are a strong contender. Most of your stats are right on target to getting into many top 20s, even HYP with your URM status. However, it does take a bit more, and it would help if you posted your ECs. Those will help set you apart even further if you have some fairly strong ones.</p>

<p>Top 10 schools are a reach for everyone on earth, but shooting for the top 20 or 30 with your amazing scores is a good idea, especially if you have ECs to match. </p>
