Are non-degree students considered going-to-be transfer students?

Hi,

I am going to attend a community college and then after those two years, I am going to transfer to a private college. Should i be enrolled as a degree seeking student or non-degree student at community college? Sorry just really confused.

-Thank you guys

It doesn’t really matter. You will be considered a transfer student at any four year college.

You should speak with the Transfer Advisor at your community college about this. As which 4-year institutions will accept a full AA or AS as covering all of the general education requirements, and whether or not there is a formal articulation agreement for your potential major. If there is an articulation agreement, finishing an AA or AS in that field of study with a certain GPA will yield automatic admission into a specific major.
