Does anyone have experience with online prep courses. In-person classes are difficult from a scheduling perspective, whereas books require a lot of discipline that not all high-schoolers have! Any advice from those who have used an online course?

I don’t have experience with online prep classes, but I can say that self-paced online classes are going to require a comparable amount of self-discipline to using books. I would suggest in either case that you have your child put together a study schedule that will get through the material in plenty of time, and then you check from time to time to make sure it is progressing at a reasonable pace.
