Are paying for SUPA credits worth it?

I’m currently a high school senior and I’m taking two SUPA classes, Forensics (CHE 113) and English (WRT 105 and ETS 142). However in order to get college credit, I would need to pay about $1,100 for all of these courses. I know this is theoretically cheaper than what it well cost to take these classes in college, but I fear that it’s still not going to be worth it because either the school I attend won’t accept the credit anyway, or even if they do, I’ll still have to pay the same price because I’ll just be taking an additional course to replaced the one I originally would have been taking.

My tentative college list right now is American, Boston College, Columbia, Georgetown, Harvard, Princeton, UAlbany, Syracuse, Tufts, and Rochester. I’m not sure if anyone knows specifically which of these schools might accept SUPA credit, but regardless, is it really worth it? Isn’t college tuition for undergrads the same regardless of the credits you have?

Thanks in advance for the help.

That is pretty cheap as college credits go, so it may be well worth the money. Especially if you have the college/university where you are earning the credits on your application list, and if they guarantee to use them toward a degree there.

You have to ask each of the other places that you might apply to separately about accepting the credits for transfer, and even then many won’t give you a Yes/No answer until after you have been accepted and enroll in classes.
