Are Practice Tests the W2G?

I received a 2030 on my first SAT attempt which I am very comfortable with, but likewise I would like to attain a score of a 2200. My breakdown was:

600 Math
700 CR
730 Writing

The Writing and Reading, I just got the hardest questions wrong so I feel like practice tests would be the biggest help. Math is a little bit of a puzzle for me though. I see the questions on the test and they don’t seem too complicated as if I need to review them, but I just don’t know how to answer some. Mainly, I got the Algebra questions wrong, but I don’t know if that’s just from a lack of mathematical ability or because I need to review Algebra. So, do I need to study Algebra again or is SAT Math just a review and I should know how to do it already, therefore just requiring practice?

I’m really annoyed because Math was the one section that everyone I know did really well on, yet I surpassed them in Reading and Writing by a ton :</p>

I’m in the same exact situation :p

All my friends are math oriented, and I blow them out of the water on CR and Writing. As for math, I’ve been taking practice tests. Then, for the ones I get wrong (which is…often) I go to this site, it’s absolutely wonderful, not only for SAT but all math topics.

Basically, take a practice test in the blue book, look at the math questions you got wrong, and go to the corresponding video. Most of the times the explanations made sense to me. We’ll see if it pays off for the May SAT…
