Are PSAT questions as difficult as SAT questions?

I’m helping my son review for the October PSAT. Tonight we were going over some of the online SAT Questions of the Day. It seems that some of them are harder than a PSAT question ought to be. For Instance:

[The Official SAT Question of the Day](<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board)

Is that typical of a PSAT question?

I don’t recall too many questions like that on the PSAT, but I think that could be easily done if you have a graphing calculator to plug the answers into (easy way out, but…).
In my opinion, the SAT QotDs are easier than the questions on the PSAT. I have a 100% on them, but nowhere near a 240 on my first PSAT.
But that question only has a 40% correct rate, so it’s obviously more difficult than normal.

This question isn’t really difficult; just test some points and you’ll arrive at the answer.

Are you studying with your son? That’s kinda creepy.
That questions is not that hard, but, yes, the PSAT questions are very similar to the SAT questions.

This question was so annoying:
