I am currently living in on campus housing as a freshman at UA. While I was gone for the weekend I found out that an RA went into my room without letting me know. I didn’t think this was allowed, I though they had to at least tell me or ask permission espeically since I wasn’t on campus at the time.
Does anyone know if this is allowed?
Typiclaly RAs can enter rooms and conduct inspections. Check details of your residential life agreement.

Check your dorm contract- I’d be shocked if there wasn’t a provision there for the RA, Campus Security, and Housing office/maintenance to be able to enter your room without you being there or giving your permission.
Do you know why the RA was there?
