<p>Arizona State has a very large, well-respected engineering school so they are going to get large company recruiters coming from all over the country, but I would guess that they will especially be from the western half of the United States, definitely not just Arizona.
In fact, a couple years ago ASU ranked was ranked 5th favorite by company recruiters:</p>

<p>Smaller companies tend to actively recruit more locally because they have smaller recruitiing budgets, but nothing says you can’t initiate the contact with a company you’re interested in.</p>
