I’ve paid a recruiting agency to try and help me find an Athletic Scholarship. Basically they talk to coaches and market me to universities. Does this now make me illegible for the NCAA?
I’ve all ready signed an NLI for a university but I’m scared i’m going to be made NCAA ineligible for paying for a recruitment service. I have not signed any contracts with the recruitment service though.

You’re fine. I think the reason the NCAA wants to know about it is because they keep tabs on these services and their financial models. They cracked down on the practice of shady recruiters/agents that would charge a college thousands of dollars for contact with a hot prospect.
