<p>I know this could sound stupid. Just curious if certain colleges are attached more closely to certain political affiliates.</p>
<p>Few colleges/service academies lean Republican while many lean left. Service academies are more often moderate which is a nice change from one direction or the other. If you are seeking a conservative environment, you will have a harder time finding options. If you are comfortable with Democrat leaning, you have less to be worried about.</p>
<p>Serrvice academies lean republican by definition. I know this from experience. That being said, individuals can believe whatever they want. </p>
<p>not only do they lean Republican, but they tend to lean towards the reborn brand of Christianity if the book “Absolutely American: Four Years at West Point” is accurate.</p>
