Are tests in the SAT preparation booklet easier?

I just took a test from the 2006-2007 Prep book and got:
CR: 770
Math: 790
Writing: 730

However, I got these scores on the previous test I took about two months back:
CR: 660
Math: 760
Writing: 670

So this new score is kind of surprising…
Is this test easier than other ones?
Any input will be appreciated!

test conditions (stress etc) may not be the same?

Use the blue book to get a mroe accurate reading fo where you will
fall. taking sub sections and extrpolating scores is meaningless
(like doing a mile and predicting your 5K time)

I scored higher on the Math than I did on the practice tests. CR and Writing were about the same.

The 2006-07 practice test was an actual exam, from October 2005.

So, your score is what you would have gotten, except for stress or other factors that could reduce (or even raise) your score. Of course, it isn’t necessarily what you will get on future actual exams, but it is a good benchmark.

Okay~
Thanks everyone!

Yea, I usually got about a 760 on CR practice exams, but I got an 800 in June. But, I would also consistently get 800 on the math with practices, but I got a 760 in June. I think it has to do with how you respond to stress in each section.

The old one with 06-07 is now reuploaded as 08-09.
