<p>I’ll be the first one to say, I don’t think I deserve to get into every college I apply to, so this isn’t intended to sound that way. However, I’m curious if anyone with similar stats has been having some UC difficulty this year. I became somewhat concerned since I was rejected from UCI. I don’t think an in depth profile of myself is necessary, at least at this point, but here are some basic stats:</p>
<p>GPA: 4.4 weighted (I’ve taken AP Euro, US, Calc BC, Language/Composition, Physics and gotten 5’s. I’m currently taking Stats, Comparative/US Gov, Lit, Micro/Macroecon, Chem.)
SAT I: 2230 (750M, 750W, 730CR)
SAT II: 800 (Math II), 760 (Physics), 650 (USH)
And I was ELC, if that’s significant.</p>
<p>My main extracurriculars involve band- the schools upper symphonic orchestra and jazz bands, regional and all-state honor groups, quintets, street and field, etc. I also give trombone lessons and help out the local middle school weekly. So, again, has anyone else been feeling the wrath of the UC system?</p>
