I’m currently a freshman going to a city school in Chicago and I absolutely hate it. Up until November it was okay due to college being new to me, but then around January and February I started to realize how miserable I was. Unfortunately, I didn’t completely convince myself that I wanted to transfer until around March. By then, it seemed like most of the transfer application deadlines had already passed (most of them seemed to be in November). Right now I feel completely trapped, and I have no idea what the best decision would be. I know that I could take a semester off and go to community, but I feel like that would waste a good year of my life. My only other alternative would be to try to take summer and winter classes in order to graduate from here as soon as possible. I’m undecided on what the best course of action would be, and if anyone knows any relatively decent business schools whose application deadlines are still a couple of weeks away. Thanks.
