Are there any concise books for basic ACT scientific knowledge?

Let me preface my question by saying that I realize that the ACT science section is really a test of reading comprehension and not of scientific knowledge. Although I am able to answer most question by just using the data tables/graphs, I feel that I would get a few more correct if I had a basic understanding of some of the scientific concepts the questions pertain to. I have a pretty good knowledge of Biology and am usually able to gloss over the data even quicker because I have a good background knowledge of this subject, but I can’t do the same in physics/chemistry. Are there any books that might help increase my GENERAL knowledge in these subjects (not so specific that I could get an 800 on the subject test in that area, but instead fairly concise and simplistic)?

bump, any book suggestions?

the Dummies series might help, Idk. :stuck_out_tongue: I haven’t taken a year of high school science (rising freshman, woot) and I got a 34 on the Feb 09 test; this stuff does nottt matter :)
