I read somewhere that CS 160 had/once had a semester where they taught android development.I looked at the course description for that class and was unable to find out if it still teaches android development. Does CS 160 still offer it? If not, are there any classes offered that will give me some experience in mobile development?

CS160 is focussing on Android development next semester. It was mentioned on the Berkeley CS Facebook group at one point, but I can’t post a direct link to it. Someone claims they asked the professor via email.

Alternatively, to learn iOS development, you can take the decal: [DeCal : Macintosh Student Developers for OS X](<a href=“My Dating Tests – What I learned to avoid”>My Dating Tests – What I learned to avoid)

Unfortunately, both classes have huge waitlists, so you might not get into either this semester.

Thanks! It’s unfortunate that Berkeley doesn’t offer more formal mobile development classes…
