Are there any universities you hate?

Free Shoes University rejected you? I’m sorry dude.

^^ Amg your from Maine?! :O

Here’s another one.

“Winston Salem is a cold-hearted murderer.”

Also, @BrettMaverick - how can you be made at OSU for rescinding you? You brought it upon yourself by failing 2nd semester, bro.

Johns Hopkins was a ******?

Yeah, that was horrible. Sorry.

HYP (plus the other ivys) because I hate how everyone acts like these are the only good schools.

I spelled you’re “your” :/

the UCs, because they only weight 4 classes in your sophomore+junior year gpa, which happened to screw over those with rigorous courses.

So do you hate those schools or the people who act the way you described?

During football season, I hate NC State (Duke is irrelevant in football).
During basketball season, I hate Duke (State is irrelevant in basketball).

Most people hate Duke because Cameron Crazies are the most obnoxious, most annoying fans in all of sports. Not the best fans, by any stretch, but the most obnoxious ones. Also, Dookies tend to act as if they are God’s gift to the game of basketball, when reality usually proves otherwise.

As a school, I respect Duke though. :)

State fans are obnoxious because they can go 4-8 in football season, but one of those four wins will come against UNC, and they will consider it a successful season. But, like I said they are irrelevant in basketball so it isn’t too big of a deal.

Harvard. Long and depressing story.

I don’t hate any, as there is no reason for me to dislike any school (yet).

However, I do dislike the idea that some people have that Ivies will make you happy. Personally, I like Yale because they have a fantastic drama program. Columbia is in NYC, my favorite city in America. I like Dartmouth and Cornell because of their excellent Japanese programs. I like University of Penn because my Dad went there.
I like them because of their programs, not prestige. I like Middlebury because of their great Japanese program too. :P

All those women schools that send me things saying they “encourage women in STEM” yet don’t offer much of an engineering program.

lol i dont know why you are so infatuated with the japanese. there is still a lot of anti-korean segregation in japan.

@md5hash
I’m not sure why either. I love the history, the culture, the language. The more I learn about the different aspects of Japan, the more I like Japan.

Hm… I met a Japanese rock band yesterday. I got their autograph. They thought it was cool that I was Korean. They debuted in 1985, so it’s not like they’re young either. Korean idols are popular in Japan.

You can’t really think of me being Korean though. I wasn’t raised as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc. so I don’t know the past conflicts of East Asian countries or uneasy feelings.

lol yeah their culture of raping and forcing korean women to become prostitutes is soo interesting.

That happened in WW2 (so I’ve read). Don’t think that happens now a days.

It’s one of the safest countries in the world. Young children take the bus to school, by themselves.

Every country has or had their problems. America once had slavery, but we’ve changed that. People can change, and so can countries.

America still has a lot of problems. Look at all the crap that happens now.

lulz everyone has issues. A girl from my school is going on foreign exchange to Turkey, and my parents were complaining about how unsafe it is to be a girl in the Middle East, but I’m sure there are European families concerned about America’s high crime rates and we think nothing of it.

you do know my grandparents were alive during the colonization period…

its not that far away.

you do know that even 30 years after the japanese colonial period, japanese politics and news were NEVER discussed on korean television or news papers
