Are there people you know that you could never picture in a relationship?

Lol… 2 of my friends (females, a bit neurotic, as you’ll see) heard me recounting an odd dream I’d had the night before, which featured a girl I’d taken on a date once. And they both go “ELI! YOU, A GIRL, ON A DATE!? YOU’VE BEEN ON A DATE, WITH A GIRL!? I CAN’T PICTURE THAT! THAT’S SO… WEIRD!” haha… So apparently I’m this type of person. Though I’ve had other people ask me how I don’t have a girlfriend already, ahah. I guess the difference is in how well you know me.

I can’t picture both of my roommates in a relationship. One is a goody two shoes that never talks about boys in general and seems kinda clueless about relationships, and the other think she got the goods, but actually is very awkward around guys.

I can’t picture myself in a relationship atm either. I’m at this phase where I have the mentality of ‘I already gotta deal with all that ■■■ in school, I don’t need a guy on my ass 24/7.’ That rooted off from a bad relationship I had a year ago. Being single is nice.

There were… until they somehow got in relationships. Some of the most socially awkward people I know did it, and so can you.

Your sister will probably find the best type of relationship if she’s not clingy. It’ll be marriage material when it appears. Two people who are comfortable in their own skin who relate well are a great combo. “Clingy” is not an attractive attribute. It makes someone else responsible for the happiness of another.

Yeah…that’s what others think of me. :(

Don’t laugh, but I’ve never been in a serious relationship, and I’m almost 21…

Same here and I’m 19 :(

I was somebody I could never picture in a relationship. I was/am independent, bullheaded, and, furthermore, really into the random hook-up life (or was). I used to essentially use guys for dates and then not talk to them again. I never had sex with anybody, but boy, was it nice to be picked up in a Mercedes…or get invited to box seats at a big college football game…
But none of it is worth it in the end because I don’t even like football and nice cars don’t mean much to me. Do those kinds of boys even care about these things? No. Because they don’t care about other people too much.
These things I’ve realized as I get older and experience life more. Now I’m in a serious relationship halfway through my sophomore year of college and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so much more difficult in some aspects, but it’s worth the growing up I’ve had to do.
