Are these 5 courses too much for a semister?

College writing 2
Introduction to networking
Principles of account 1
Principles of sociology
College algebra
I plan on taking these in the spring (15 credits)

Right now i am taking 4 courses (12 credits) and i have a 3.6 GPA

Is college algebra linear algebra?

From the course description
“This course is designed primarily as a college-level mathematics course for students whose intended course of study falls outside the areas of science, technology, engineering, computer science, and mathematics. The course extends the fundamental concepts of algebra, including linear equations and inequalities, algebraic functions, absolute value equations and inequalities, distance and midpoint formulas and circles, systems of equations, integral and rational exponents, radicals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of rational expressions, and an introduction to exponential and logarithmic functions. The course meets General Education “Quantitative Thought” Requirement Area 4. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in Fundamentals of Algebra (MAT094) or placement.”

You’ll be fine.

That doesn’t look bad at all. Also, I took a course called College Algebra this semester and it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. It was like 8th grade level math.

It sounds like the algebra course is just basic Algebra II, typically taken in the order of algebra II—Precalc—Calc. Shouldn’t have any problems, sounds like a rather easy schedule tbqh.

I’ll trade you, here’s my 5 courses:

Linear & Matrix Algebra (3000 level class)
Numerical Calculus (4000 level class)
Statistical Theory II (proof based math class regarding mathematical statistics) (4000 level class)
Applied Time Series (4000 level class)
Experimental Design (5000 level/grad class)

yeah I’d trade you my semester THIS time around
Philosophy 100 Online Accelerated/Half Semester
Chem 30A (High school Chem)
Math 10/Elementary Statistics
Honors Persuasive Speaking
Honors English 6A
Honors Dance In America

Actually, nah, cause my 3 honors classes are a cinch, I’d keep this, the only hard part’s the Chem and it’s not so bad

Yeah, I’m pretty sure no one here is going to tell you that’s tough.

You’d laugh at what I’m taking, probably, but generally on CC you’ll get no sympathy with 15 credits if they aren’t all calc/engineering/hard science classes.

Yeah, you should be fine. Just go to classes and do your homework.
