Are these good choices for applying?

<p>Please compare my stats and recs to the colleges I am applying… do I have a nice range of schools and what are my chances at each 1 of them?</p>

<p>Stats:
Senior-- so basically set
3.9 unweighted
AP Calc, AP Bio, AP Span, AP Stat
All Honors courses
Rank: 23/188
SAT II: 710 Math I, 640 Math II, 590 Bio,
25 ACT (probably take it again in Dec)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars/ Award:
couple of school clubs, student council, student advisory board, president…
Volunteer at a hospital
National Honor Society
Valedictorian at DeVry Program
Principle’s Honor Roll
Winner of National Poetry Contest</p>

<p>Currently conducting “independent” research on Ethanol with a retired chemist (who went to Columbia)-doubt I’ll find anything interesting though. </p>

<p>If Pitt, why not CMU? How about CWRU as a back-up? Do you really like Temple and RIT? I like the JHU, Lehigh, and RPI choices.</p>
